SportsVHL uses the following criteria to determine appropriate advertising. All advertising on SportsVHL is subject to this policy. SportsVHL reserves the right to reject any ads that violate this policy, are disparaging to SportsVHL or have potential for user confusion.

• Violence/Profanity: Advertisements cannot contain pictures or text related to cruelty, physical, or emotional acts against persons or animals which are primarily intended to hurt or inflict pain. Advertisements cannot contain obscene words, phrases, or profanity.
• Nudity: Advertisements cannot contain pictures that expose the female breast or full exposure of either male or female buttocks. Advertisements may include swimsuits. Advertisements cannot contain pictures that show any portion of the human genitalia.
• Sexual Acts: Advertisements cannot contain pictures or text related to anyone or anything involved in explicit sexual acts and/or lewd behavior. Advertisements for phone sex, dating services, and adult personals, CD-ROM's and videos are not allowed.
• Gross Depictions: Advertisements cannot contain pictures or text of anyone or any thing which are crudely vulgar or grossly deficient in civility or behavior.
• Intolerance: Advertisements cannot advocate prejudice or discrimination against any race, color, national origin, religion, disability or handicap, gender, or sexual orientation.
• Satanic/Cult: Advertisements cannot advocate devil worship, cult memebership, subjects of an evil or wicked nature.
• Drugs: Advertisements cannot advocate the illegal use of drugs.
• Militant/Extremist: Advertisements cannot advocate extremely aggressive and combative behaviors, or advocacy of unlawful political measures. Advertisements cannot contain instructional information on the making or use of weapons, ammunitions or pyrotechnics materials.
• Gambling: Advertisements cannot advocate materials or activities which may be illegal in any or all jurisdictions, such as illegal business schemes, chain letters, copyright infringement, computer hacking, phishing and software piracy. Advertisements cannot advocate gambling activities.
• Competitive: Advertisements by entities deemed to be direct competitors of SportsVHL are not allowed.
• Links: Links from advertisement are subject to these same policies.

• We accept GIF & JPEG files.
• Animated ads are NOT allowed, given the video animated nature of the SportsVHL site.
• Up to 100K in polite download is allowed. Polite download is the portion of the ad that loads once content loads.
• SportsVHL Media Staff will develop advertisements on request for a nominal fee.

Run-of-Site Ads
These ads appear on the top and right side of the home page, listing pages, and general content pages. They also appear on the detail video pages when state, city and organization ads are not available for that area. Ads will change when the page is refreshed.

Geographical Ads
These ads ONLY appear on the detail video pages, mySportsVHL pages, and the recruit bio pages. These ads have a primary match on the state, city and/or organization associated with the video (for the video detail page), the user (mySportsVHL pages), and the recruit (bio pages). Advertisers simply select the state, city and/or organization that they want their ads to be associated with. Ads will change when the page is refreshed.
